A famous temple of Lord Siva Swarna Pureeswarar and Ambigai Maruvar Kuzhali, also known as Pushpalagi and Dakshayni. When sundarar came to temple for dharshan, Lord Siva hided Himself. Sundarar sang padigam and got the darshan of Lord Siva. In epics it is called Indrapuri and Laxmipuri. Siva blessed Dakshayni here. Indran got Vazrayudam here to kill Virudhigasuran.
