The marriage for Perumal and Natchiar was held at Thiru vali. Perumal gave Dharshan to Mangai Mannan at Thiru Nagari. Mangai Mannan (Aali Nadu ) built many temples for Thirumal. He wanted to build a temple at Sri Rangam, but lacking of fund, he began to rob people. At that time, Lord Vishnu and Laxmi came in disguise as newly married couple. Mangai mannan robbed the jewels of couple. But the metti which was worn by Lord Vishnu could not be removed. So Mangai Mannan bent down and began to bite the finger and metti of Vishnu. Thirumal asked him, Is this so tough.He blessed Mangai Mannar.
